In a great European derby at the Allianz Arena, the Bayern stuck her Real Madrid to the wall with repeated chances, Ancelotti’s team took the lead in 24′ by Viniciusthe Bavarians turned the match around in the second half in a span of four minutes with Sane and his penalty Kanebut Vinicius equalized at 2-2 from the white bullet!

In the “Santiago Bernabeu” qualification will be judged on Easter Wednesday (8/5) with Bayern looking to qualify for Real’s ‘den’ for the first time since 2012when he had eliminated the Queen on penalties and with the “merenches” going with the home advantage to qualify for another final.

As soon as second tie in Munich for Bayern and Real, with the Madrid side leaving the Bavarian capital unbeaten for a fourth match in a row.

In the minds of the coaches:

Thomas Tuchel lined up Bayern with his favorite 4-3-3. For the Bavarians, the German coach chose Neuer in goal, with Kimmich, Kim, Nteier and Mazraoui in defense. Laimer and Goretzka were in the axis, Miller in front of them, Kane at the top and Sane, Musiala at the ends.

Carlo Ancelotti preferred the well-known “recipe” for Real Madrid. The Italian coach of the “Queen” chose Lunin at home with Bathketh, Riedinger, Nacho and Mendy in the back four. In the center the trio of Valverde, Tswameni and Kroos were immobile for another European match, while Bellingham moved behind Vinicius and Rodrigo.

The match:

Bayern’s start to the match was deafening, with the Bavarians coming in with a knife in their teeth and losing their first final in 57″ with Sane placing and Lunin saving with his foot, keeping the score 0-0.

Just five minutes later Kane with a spot kick from outside the area tested the reflexes of Lunin who blocked the ball, while seconds later Sane missed again.

Real Madrid tried to take measures on the field with back-to-back corners, but the flow of the match changed in the 24th minute! Kroos took the ball in the center and with a fantastic vertical pass between the Bayern stoppers, he found Vinicius who made no mistake in the 4-a-4 with Neuer, making it 0-1 from the spot!

Tuchel’s team from that point onwards “went down” the field and in the 40th minute missed a great opportunity to equalize. Musiala won a free-kick in an excellent spot with Kane delivering with plenty of volley and power, but the ball went narrowly wide of Lunin’s post with the half ending seconds later.

At the break, Tuchel made a change, removing Goretzka from the field and putting Guerreiro on! Initially, the German coach went to pay for it, after Real almost found a second goal. Bellingham countered, Kroos followed his move and took the ball, slotting straight in for Neuer to make an impressive save to keep the score at 0-1.

The answer of the “Bavarias” came in the 53rd minute! Sane took the ball from the right, took a few meters, stepped into the area, shot into the closed corner and… executed Lunin for 1-1!

The match changed dramatically four minutes later. Musiala made a beautiful move and got into the area, where after a series of feints, he was brought down by Bathketh and won a penalty. Kane took charge and sealed Bayern’s 2-1 upset.

Ancelotti made changes, effectively “sacrificing” Bellingham and switching to the match, Modric and Bahim Diath. The Italian was vindicated after Real Madrid also tied the match with a penalty. Modric found Rodrigo nicely in the area with the Brazilian making the move to be brought down by Kim and Turpin again showing the ultimate in penalties. Vinicius sent Neuer on the other side and equalized for Real Madrid in the final 2-2!
