“Flexible” Brunson led the Knicks to a 2-0 win over the Pacers

Anniversary day of winning their first title in NBAthe Knicks showed what they are made of hard metal and despite the problems that existed in Game 2 of the Eastern semifinals, they prevailed 130-121 of the Pacers and they did it 2-0 in the row between them.

Jaylen Brunson afflicted with annoyances right leg, but returned to the floor in the second half and scored 24 of his 29 points, leading New York to another victory over Indiana.

OG Anumbo did playoff-high with 28 points, before he too was injured in the third period of the matchup, with Donte DiVincenzo scoring 28 points and Josh Hart having a double-double with 19 points, 15 rebounds and 7 assists. Isaiah Hartenstein finished the game with 14 points, 12 rebounds and 8 assists.

Tyrese Halliburton returned to good performances, had 34 points, 9 assists and 6 rebounds for the Pacers, who finished the game without Rick Carlisle, who was ejected with two technical penalties. Obie Toppin added 20 points, leading the way for Indiana.

The series now moves to Indianapolis for Game 3, early Saturday morning, and Game 4, early Monday morning.
