And that’s because he wants to stay in touch with the friends of the “reds”! Something he revealed himself through his first video on account opened on instagram for this very purpose.
The video in question, which was also reposted by Liverpool, also featured an emotional “goodbye” from the German coach to her friends from the Merseyside team.
It is reminded that on Sunday (19/5, 18:00) Klopp will sit for the last time on the Liverpool bench, in the home match against Wolves.
“Dear Liverpudlians, we are getting close to the end. On October 8, 2015, we met for the first time. I would call it a love affair. From day one it was an amazing time. I enjoyed it very much and I want to thank you for your support over the years. For all the strength you gave us.
I’ve always thought that it’s like we’re writing history together, and that’s how I feel today. A good book. And if we read it in the future, we will have a smile on our face.
Leaving such a place is hard. I want to stay in touch with you and although I am not good with social media, people have told me they will help. So let’s go, see you later“, said Klopp characteristically.
