After two and a half years, Xavi is a thing of the past from her bench Barcelona.
The Catalan technician with an emotional post said Goodbye to the group of his life, as he characteristically mentioned and emphasized that he will always be at her disposal.

“My dear friends, my time on the Barcelona bench will end on Sunday. It’s never easy to leave the team of your life, but I do so with great pride, after 2.5 years leading a team that was like my second family. I want to thank the fans for their support and affection, who were always by my side and showed me the same love they showed me while I was playing.
From Sunday I will be another culter in the stands, either here in Montjuic, or in a few months at Camp Nou. Because before the status of coach and footballer, I am a Barcelona fan and I want the best for the team for which I will always be at their disposal.
I worked with fantastic players and coaching staff. Thanks to everyone, we achieved our goals, including last year’s championship and a Super Cup. This season didn’t go the way we wanted, but we came together and produced a generation of footballers from Masia that inspired all of us Barcelona fans.
Many thanks to everyone. To the players, the coaching staff, the fans, all the team workers, the chairman, the technical directors, the journalists and everyone who shared the journey these two and a half years. I wish the best to the team that I carry in my heart.
