Olympiacos: Instructions to its fans for gathering and going to the Opap Arena for the Conference final

On Wednesday night (29/5, 22:00) our team faces Fiorentina in the final of the UEFA Europa Conference League at the OPAP Arena, New Philadelphia.

Strict control and prevention measures were jointly decided by the organizing authority UEFA and the Police regarding the safe and smooth access of our fans to the stadium.

All the fans of our team who have secured a legal ticket, red and white, can gather from 12:00 in the surrounding area of ​​the Peace and Friendship Stadium (S.E.F.) in Neo Faliro, which will be suitable custom (Fan Meeting Point). The movement to the stadium will be carried out in an organized and mass manner via ISAP trains, which will operate exclusively for this purpose from Faliro station to Perissos station, from 18:00 on the day of the final.

We ask our sports fans to be at SEF as soon as possible to avoid inconvenience, given that the last train from Faliro to Perissos will depart at 20:45.

To enter the train, sports fans must have their police ID and legal electronic ticket with them. Backpacks larger than A4 are prohibited. We stress to all our fans that using the trains that will take them to Perissos station and then walking the shortest possible distance is the best way to get to the stadium on the day of the final.

In order to serve spectators who use a wheelchair or have reduced mobility, it has been foreseen by the UEFA organizing authority that UEFA minivans with relevant markings will be made available at the point where the trains arrive (ISAP Perissos), so that they can be transported to the stadium, and there is no need to travel the distance that the rest of the sports fans will travel, which is estimated at 10-15 minutes.

Finally, we remind all our fans that the Municipality of Piraeus and PAE Olympiacos will install giant screens in three places in Piraeus, from where our fans will be able to watch the final. These points are as follows:

1. Korai Square, Piraeus

2. Papanikoli Square (Marina Zeas)

3. “Georgiou Gennimata” Square (Kaminia)

According to the Police information, the measures will be increased with strict pre-checks and checks both at the above gathering points of the fans, as well as on the way to the stadium.

There will be three control zones in which physical searches will be carried out and in case of detection of any prohibited object or substances (drugs, sharp objects, flammable objects, lasers, banners with abusive content, bats, poles, alcoholic beverages) and in general objects that can cause bodily harm or danger to physical integrity, people will be removed from the area.
