He returns to Peristeri Stathis Tavlaridis!
THE Fearless announced the hiring of the former central defender as head of the team’s scouting department.
The 44-year-old had competed in the “star” for 2.5 years, namely from July 2012 until January 2015, when he was then acquired by Panathinaikos.
We remind you that Tavlaridis, after finishing his football career, took on the role of talent scout in AEK for just under a year, and then had a regular scouting role in the “Association” for just over a year.
He served as head of the scouting department in AELbut sports director for more than a year.

“Return to Peristeri for Stathis Tavlaridis, assuming the post of Head of Scouting.
PAE Atromitos announces the start of its cooperation with Stathis Tavlaridis, who as of today is the new Head of Scouting of our team.
Stathis Tavlaridis returns to the “blue and white” family after about 10 years. The former international central defender was acquired by our club in the summer of 2012 and remained at Asteri until January 2015, making a total of 72 appearances and scoring seven goals.
He is a prominent figure in Greek football in recent years, having as a football player two English championships with Arsenal, while he was a key member of Lille and Saint-Etienne, having over 150 appearances in the French league.
After the completion of his football career, Stathis Tavlaridis naturally remained in the field of football and among other degrees he has “UEFA MIP III (Master for International Players)” and “UEFA Elite Scout” while he knows excellent English and French.
On a professional level, he was Sports Director at AEL (2022/23), Head of the AEK Academies scouting team (March 2019 – July 2020) and AEK first team scout (March 2021 – July 2022).
After the conclusion of the agreement, Stathis Tavlaridis gave his first statements to atromitosfc.gr:
“I am very happy to return to an environment that has been a real family for me for 2.5 years. With Atromitos we experienced some magical moments that I will never forget and for this reason, I am very happy to return to Peristeri.
But now is not the time for words. We have a lot of work this summer and of course the goal is, each one in his own role, to contribute to creating a team that the world will be happy to see and that will satisfy the Peristerian sports fan.
I thank the president, Mr. Spanos and the Technical Director, Mr. Angelopoulos for the trust they have shown me and I wish that we will all do our best together for Atromitos».
