A heavy monetary penalty was imposed by the Sports Referee on Mars for the insulting slogans that were heard in Alexandria, in the second semi-final with Panathinaikos.
Specifically, the “yellow” OEM will pay a fine totaling 3,600 euros.
The decisions of the Sports Referee:
“1) ARIS BASKETBALL LIMITED LIABILITY COMPANY (d.t. ARIS KAE 2003) is released for the non-use of the changing box as well as for the entry of an unauthorized person into the locker room offenses during the championship game with the team of the PANATHINAIKOS ATHLETIKOS AMILOS BASKETBALL LIMITED LIABILITY COMPANY ( d.t. KAE PANATHINAIKOS), which was held on 2-6-2024 and
2) ARIS KALATHOSFAIRIKI ANONYMI ETEIREIA (d.t. ARIS KAE 2003) is imposed: a) for each of the 3 warnings that took place excluding the first of them, for abusive slogans addressed to natural persons, the penalty of reprimand as well as a fine of one thousand four hundred (1,400.00) euros, i.e. a total penalty of two (2) reprimands and a fine of two thousand eight hundred (2,800.00) euros and b) a fine of eight hundred (800.00) euros due to abusive slogans which they are not addressed to natural persons or do not constitute an insult to national symbols during the aforementioned match».
