Aris closed a successful season for him, after he managed to make a positive progress in the Eurocupto reach the top four of the Greek league but also to achieve a great victory against the old Panathinaikos in OAKA.
The “yellows”, through their official site, took stock of the “significant”, as they described it, season, thanked the world for undivided support of this year and the previous difficult years, while they emphasized that the next years will be even more successful for the team.

A significant season for several years has come to an end for ARIS Midea.
-A season with 54 official matches, the most since the 2015-16 season (55) in modern ARIS history.
-A season that marked the return of ARIS Midea to the highest possible European level, with participation in the BKT EuroCup. And not a simple participation, but accompanied by the qualification to the 12 best teams of the competition, with the lowest budget, with nine great victories in 18 matches.
-A season that marked the return of ARIS Midea to the four best teams in Greece after seven years.
-A season which sent resounding messages, with victories such as those in “Nikos Galis” of Athens over Panathinaikos AKTOR, the qualification with a unique upset to the semi-finals of the Final 8 of the Greek Cup over PAOK, the semi-finals of the play-offs of Stoiximan Basket League also in an “epic” way against Prometheus Patras, the four “doubles” in the BKT EuroCup (Slask Wroclaw, Buduchnost, Turk Telecom, Ulm) and so on….
-The main thing: A season in which the world of ARIS sent the most resounding message. With his unparalleled and selfless love for the “flagship” of the club, which translated into a permanently full “Nick Galis Hall”, which in turn (again) toured Europe and graced many highlights at home and abroad.
In the summer of 2023, ARIS Midea took a big decision and (objectively) a big risk: To participate in a “marathon” like that of the BKT EuroCup, alongside his domestic obligations. The risk was competitive and financial, if the year did not develop positively. But plan and luck help the bold. ARIS Midea dared and was justified, “returning” at all levels, inside and outside the borders. And for that reason only congratulations to the technical team, the players and everyone who contributed to this year’s progress.
On-court achievements, such as this year’s excellent season in Greece and Europe, must be “translated” off the court as well. The beginning was made last year and the continuation was even more resounding this year also at the sponsorship level, as evidenced by the two very large, at all levels, sponsorships with Midea and Betsson, two “giants” that hardly fit in the “same armpit” of teams outside the Euroleague. This was just the beginning…
As the wise people say, “the enemy of the good, is the best.” The (re)rise of ARIS Midea has begun, but there is also a continuation. Our promise – our commitment to the thousands of fans who believed in our vision, when just a few years ago everything looked “black”, and who supported this effort as few as possible, is that every possible effort will be made so that our team continues to rise levels, aiming at some point to reach those that have been experienced in the past and that our sports fans dream of for the future.
A press conference of ARIS Midea will take place immediately, which has “built” a lot on the team’s extroversion, honesty and communication with the world. Both the easy and the hard.
