The first step towards winning this year’s NBA Finals was achieved early Friday morning Boston Celticswho prevailed with the impressive 107-89 by the Dallas Mavericks at TD Garden and Game 1 of the Finals series!
“Red cloth” for the friends of the “Celts” was the Kyrie Irvingwho also had an episodic and brief stint with the Boston team in the past.
So, the Mavericks guard received quite a bit of booing during the match, while some Celtics fans didn’t even hesitate to wear a inflatable doll with Irving’s jerseydriving her around the field!
For the record, since leaving Boston in 2019, Irving has an 11-game losing streak against the Celtics, which is why there was even more anger at the end of Game 1.
However, the “Mavs” superstar threw away his… pin after the match was over, stressing at the press conference that: “I expected more noise from the Celtics crowd”!
