His message on the occasion of the celebration of Thira 4 for winning this year’s championship, was sent by Ivan Savvidis.
After talking about this season, which he described as very difficult, the administrative leader of PAOK referred to the future, stressing that the team’s goal is to enter the League Phase of the new Champions League, while he also referred to the creation of a state-of-the-art sports center in its area Thermis and in the construction of Nea Toumpa, while also sending a clear message for changes in Greek football, on the occasion of the assumption of the presidency of the EPO by Makis Gagatsis.
The message sent by the administrative leader of PAOK in detail:
“Dear friends, our dear sports fans, I sincerely congratulate you all, all of us with the championship, with another championship. We lived a very difficult year, in very difficult conditions, through labyrinths, we proved that we are united and that we are a force and can achieve great goals.
I was and will always remain loyal to the interests of PAOK and I want you to know that, remember that and perhaps our greatest successes are still ahead. I am absolutely convinced that difficult times unite us even more, absolutely convinced that to achieve victory, it is not necessary to be on the battlefield and this season showed that we were thirsty, we wanted, we aimed and we succeeded.
We have written several pages of history in our biography and that certainly includes the story of this season. We want and will do everything to enter the Champions League group, we want and will do everything to multiply our strength, our greatness so that PAOK experiences the greatest successes every day. They can’t not count us out.
Today we are that force, which can say that we are responsible for the future of football in Greece.
I congratulate you again, I hope that you understand what goals we have before us and it is not only sports successes, but also the creation of a state-of-the-art sports center in the area of ​​Thermi, the construction of New Toumba in Toumba. Without infrastructure, without modern infrastructure, nothing happens.
I am very grateful to you for the fact that throughout the year you showed absolute understanding, faith and unity around the interests of PAOK, I thank you that this year, another year, we lived together, we had successes and I sincerely believe that we will celebrate with dignity the 100 years of PAOK!”.
