The German club announced that the Miroslav Klose will be the new coach of the team, returning to his homeland after three years and his presence as an assistant coach at Bayern Munich, while in between he was the head of the technical leadership of the Austrian Altach.
In his statements he said: “Tradition, passion, honest work, great fans – these are all things I love about football and associate with Nürnberg. That’s why I was immediately approached by the opportunity to become a coach here. The club has a great base with its youth work which we want to continue to build on. I have known and respected Giotis (Hatzialexiou) for many years. We are on the same page personally and in the way we think about football. Now is the time to start, face things and plan the season on the right track.”
