“Bells” and to players from Sports Referee of ESAKE!
Thomas Walkup and Isaiah Cannon were punished for misconduct, for what happened in the second final between Olympiakos and Panathinaikos AKTOR in SEF, with a fine of 3,000 euros the one and 5,000 euros respectively the other.
Henceforth, regarding the episode between Matias Lessor and Giannoulis Larentzakisafter the end of the third final in OAKA, the Sports Referee of ESAKE decided to dismiss the French center.
The decisions of the Sports Referee:
“1. A severe written reprimand and a fine of three thousand (3,000.00) euros are imposed on Thomas Ryan Walkup, a basketball player of the OLYMPIC BASKETBALL ASSOCIATION OF PIRAEUS KALATHOSPHAIRIKI ANONIMEIA (d.t. OLYMPIAKOS KAE) for inappropriate behavior reputational for the sport, during the championship game with the team of PANATHINAIKOS ATHLETIKOS OMILOS KALATHOSFAIRIKI ANONIMI ETAIREIA (d.t. KAE PANATHINAIKOS) which was held on 7-6-2024 and
2. A severe written reprimand and a fine of five thousand (5,000.00) euros are imposed on Isaiah Canaan, a basketball player of the OLYMPIC PHILATHLON ASSOCIATION OF PIRAEUS BASKETBALL SOCIETY (d.t. OLYMPIAKOS KAE) for inappropriate behavior, defamatory of the sport, which took place during the above match.
1. Mr. Matthias Michel Lessort, athlete of PANATHINAIKOS ATHLETIKOS OMILOS KALATHOSFAIRIKI ANONIME ETAIREIA (d.t. KAE PANATHINAIKOS) is acquitted for an act of violence against the athlete of KAE OLYMPIAKOS, Mr. Larentzakis, which allegedly took place after the end of the championship match with the team of OLYMPIC PHILATHLON ASSOCIATION OF PIRAEUS BASKETBALL JSC (d.t. OLYMPIAKOS KAE) held on 10-6-2024.
2. PANATHINAIKOS ATHLETIKOS OMILOS KALATHOSFAIRIKI ANONIME ETAIREIA (d.t. KAE PANATHINAIKOS) is released for the same incident as above».
