Giorgos Kamperidis will remain a resident of Karditsa. Thessalian KAE announced the renewal of its cooperation with the 25-year-old guard-forward for the next year.

In detail, the announcement:

“AS Karditsas JAPONIKI announces that Giorgos Kamberidis has renewed his partnership and will be on the team’s roster next season as well.

The 2.01m tall 25-year-old guard-forward is the first move to preserve the squad’s core, which is a priority in the blue and white’s planning.

Giorgos Kamperidis started playing basketball at the academies of Mandraikos and at the age of 17 he switched to Doukas, with whom he won the Panhellenic Youth Championship, while he himself was named MVP of the competition. In October 2017, he signed his first professional contract with Panionios, where he stayed for three seasons (2017-2020).

In the summer of 2020, he switched to PAOK, competing in the northern doubleheader for the last three seasons until June 2023.

Last year he joined our team and in his seventh season as a professional in the Basket League he was a key player with a m.o. 5.8 points, 1.7 rebounds, 1 steal and 40% three-point shooting, being the player with the most three-pointers for our team. In April, he was in Lithuania, where he played with Neptunas in the playoffs of the league and now he returns for a second season in Karditsa, in view of the new championship of the Stoiximan Basket League.

We wish George health, strength and success with our team.”
