The events that took place during Game 4 of the championship finals between Olympiakos and Panathinaikos AKTOR at SEF on Wednesday (12/06) were adjudicated by the Sports Referee.
The “red and white” were punished with a written recommendation for “verbal abuse by individual fans outside the pitch before kick-off”while they received a fine of 800 euros for “abusive slogans that are not addressed to natural persons or do not constitute an insult to national symbols”.
On the other hand, Mr Panathinaikos AKTOR he was cleared of any disciplinary charges and did not receive any punishment.
The decisions of the Sports Referee in detail:
OLYMPIC
A. The OLYMPIC PHILATHLON ASSOCIATION OF PIRAEUS BASKETBALL JSC (d.t. OLYMPIAKOS KAE) is required to: a) a written recommendation with a parallel announcement to the press, for an offense that cannot be characterized as particularly serious or defamatory of the sport (verbal attack on the part of of individual fans outside the playing field, before the start of the match) and b) a monetary fine of eight hundred (800.00) euros due to abusive slogans which are not addressed to natural persons or do not constitute an insult to national symbols, misdemeanors during the championship match with the team PANATHINAIKOS ATHLETICS OMILOS BASKETBALL LIMITED LIABILITY COMPANY (d.t. KAE PANATHINAIKOS), which was held on 12-6-2024 and
B. The above-mentioned KAE is exempted from the disciplinary categories a) regarding the use of laser pointers and b) regarding the use of banners, i.e. for misdemeanors that took place during the aforementioned match.
PANATHINAIKOS
The PANATHINAIKOS ATHLETIKOS OMILOS KALATHOSFAIRIKI ANONIMI ETEIREIA (d.t. KAE PANATHINAIKOS) is exempted from the disciplinary charges that are not characterized as particularly serious, during the championship match with the team of the OLYMPIC FILATHLON ASSOCIATION OF PIRAEUS KALATHOSFAIRIKI ANON YMI COMPANY (d.t. OLYMPIAKOS KAE) , held on 12-6-2024.
