Kyriakos Spyriounis remains a Kifissia player. Northern suburbs TAA have announced the renewal of the 27-year-old international winger’s partnership for next year and for the fifth time overall, to help the club get back into European competition.
In detail, the announcement:
“The Kifissia Volleyball Sports Club announces the renewal of its cooperation with the athlete Kyriakos Spiriounis for the 2024-25 season.
The 27-year-old winger for one more year will be a valuable ‘cog’ in the Kifisio ‘machine’ in the effort to achieve distinction in Greece and Europe. This will be the second year in a row and fifth year in total that he will wear the shirt of the northern suburbs team.
On the occasion of the renewal of his cooperation with the ‘blue and white’, Kyriakos Spyriounis said: “I am very happy to continue playing in Kifissia, as it is a team that trusts me, which gives me confidence. For me, it is important that I will work again with Costas Christofidelis and the team staff. Last year, on my return to Kifissia, I found my racing rhythm again. I improved both in the competitive and in the spiritual part and now I’m looking forward to the new championship”.
Speaking about the goals for the new year, Kyriakos Spyriounis emphasized: “Kifisia is a team with tradition in Greek volleyball and our goal is to keep it in high positions. We also want to go the extra mile in the Challenge Cup, enjoying our European journey. I wish you a good season with good health.”
