He said goodbye to Olympiakos through a social media post o Isaiah Canaan.
The American guard leaves the “red and white” after two seasons to continue his career in Serbia and Red Stardescribing the two seasons he spent with Piraeus as wonderful, stressing that he gave everything when he was allowed to.
In detail what he said in his farewell post:
“My dear Olympias. These two years have been wonderful. Back-to-back Final 4, all domestic Cups in first season, all but one in second. We didn’t achieve the ultimate goal I wanted to achieve with this fantastic organization, but I certainly had the opportunities and that’s what I wanted. I built many relationships and many friendships that I will never forget. To my brothers, we fought, we fought when no one believed in us.
To Piraeus and Thyra 7: I truly appreciate your love, from the bottom of my heart. I had to win over a lot of you in the beginning, but if you know anything about me, it’s that challenges are my fuel. You know I gave what I had (when I was allowed to). You will always have a special place in my heart. With love and respect, we’re not saying goodbye, we’ll see each other again”.
