Leto’s assistant in Kifissia was Panagiotaras

“PAE Kifissia announces the start of cooperation with Nikos Panagiotaras, who joins the team’s technical staff under Sebastian Leto as an assistant coach.

Nikos Panagiotaras is a UEFA PRO holder and after his career as a footballer (with participation in the A and B national teams) he decided to start that of a coach.

The first stop of his career was Panionios as coach of the U19 and assistant coach of the first team in the Super League 1 Championship. He stayed there for two years, before moving to AEK in the summer of 2014, where he stayed for eight years.

During this time, he initially worked as a coach in the U19, moving over the last six years to the club’s first team as an assistant coach. He was the direct collaborator of Stelios Manolas, Marinos Ouzounidis, Manolo Jimenez, Miguel Cardoso, Massimo Carrera, Nikos Kostenoglou, Argyris Giannikis and Vladan Milojevic. He was also head coach of AEK’s first team for six games in the playoffs in 2015/16, as well as head coach of AEK B’ in 2022.

With the AEK team he won a Greek Cup and participated in the Champions and Europa League groups.

In 2022/23 he was on the technical staff of Ionikos, which participated in the Super League 1 Championship, while the last stop of his career was PAS Ioannina, where he worked in the second half of last season.
