Official: Ares announced DeJulius

David DeJulius was born on August 9, 1999 and with a height of 1.83m. competes in the position of point guard.

Began his collegiate career with the Michigan Wolverines in 2018. In his rookie season he played in 25 games. In his second year he got more playing time and finished with 7 points, 2.4 rebounds and 1.5 assists, playing an average of 20.0 minutes, in 31 games.

In the summer of 2020, he applied to transfer and more than 20 colleges were interested in joining him. He preferred Cincinnati and his first season was cut short due to Covid, with him averaging 9.1 points, 4.5 rebounds and 4.2 assists in 19 games and 29.5 minutes.

In his fourth year, he made his breakthrough, leading the Bearcats in scoring with 14.5 points, 2.8 rebounds and 2.6 assists, earning a place in the second best five in his district.

DeJulius exercised the athletes’ right to a 5th season in college due to the Covid “half” year and played out the 2022-23 season in Cincinnati. In his final collegiate season he averaged 14.8 points, 2.3 rebounds and 5.3 assists. In fact, his total of 192 assists that year was the third best in college history, behind two performances by the legendary Oscar Robertson!

The new player of ARIS Midea started his professional career last year, with the shirt of Lavrios Megabolt. In 13 games, he averaged 14.4 points and 3.5 assists, shooting 92.8%, 52.2% from 2-pointers and 33.3% from 3-pointers. In fact, his individual scoring record was set in the match against ARIS Midea, where he scored 25 points.
