PAOK announced the Rising Star of Serbian volleyball

Vuk Ivankovic belongs to PAOK since Sunday. The amateur “two-headed” announced the acquisition of the 25-year-old international Serbian winger, the Rising Star of the neighboring country’s volleyball for the next year.

Ivankovic has been playing for his hometown Radniski for the past four years.

In detail, the announcement:

“PAOK and the men’s volleyball department announce the start of cooperation with the athlete, Vuk Ivankovic, for the 2024-2025 season.

Born in Serbia on 02/04/1999, Vuk Ivankovic plays as a winger and is 198cm tall.

He took his first professional steps in volleyball in the 2014-15 season from Metalac Takovo, getting important performances from a very young age. He remained at Metalats Takovo for the next two seasons (2015-16 and 2016-17).

In the 2017-18 season, he played in Vojvodina, being at the same time an international with the U19 of Serbia, with whom he competed in the European Championship qualifiers, and also with the U21 of Serbia, with whom he won the Balkan Championship that season.

He then followed another two years (2018-20) at Metalac Takovo to move to Radniski, where he stayed for four years (2020-2024).

In Radniski he gained valuable experiences, playing at a high level, but also in the European inter-club competitions. At the same time, in the 2022-23 season he competed with the Serbian men’s national team in the Volleyball Nations League, which he also did in the 2023-24 season.

Regarding the start of cooperation with PAOK, Vuk Ivankovic stated on the club’s official website, acpaok.gr: “I am very excited and it is an honor to be part of the PAOK family. I can’t wait for the season to start and I promise to give everything to help the team. Everyone has given me a very warm welcome and I can’t wait to get to know them all in person and start the hard work. Let’s go to PAOK”.
