Jay was born on April 10, 2000 in Vacaville, California and has a height of 2.06. He continued the family tradition since his father, John Nagle, is a basketball coach. He played at UCSB (University of California, Santa Barbara) and finished his collegiate career at Idaho State. In addition to his basketball skills, he also stood out for his academic performance, earning a degree in Sports Management. Also, his fellow students were talking about his talent in… juggling.
As a senior, he averaged 5 points, 4.3 rebounds and 1.5 assists in 25 games, 23 of which he was a member of the starting five.
In his professional start, he confirmed that he is multi-dimensional since, last season with Orbi, he had high performances in all the main statistical categories. He scored over 20 points in 9 games with a best performance of 29 points scored on February 11, 2024 in his team’s 93-85 win over Margveti me. Against the same opponent, in the match of the first round he had 28 points with 6 out of 10 three-pointers. His rebounding record was 12 on December 16, 2023 in a 91-79 win over RASHI. The assists were the 12 he handed out in a match in which he scored a triple double (26 points, 10 rebounds, 12 assists) in a 112-92 win over Rustavi (December 23, 2023). These performances placed him in the top five of the league’s foreigners.
Jay welcome to the Amarousi family.
