In a few days (July 2-7) the SEF pre-Olympic tournamentthrough which the National team of Greece will fight for a ticket to Paris Olympics.
The President of the EEC, Vangelis Lioliosand the president of SEF, Christina Tsiligiritalked about this great moment in terms of the country’s basketball, but also about their satisfaction with the improvement projects which took place at the Faleri Stadium to ensure an unforgettable experience for the crowd.
“The Stadium of Peace and Friendship welcomes, after many years, a great event of National basketball teams and Greece aspires to celebrate through the Pre-Olympic tournament an important distinction, the qualification to the Olympic games for the first time since 2008.
The National team has already made its first “acquaintance” with the Stadium, it had started to feel familiar and will now enjoy it with the significant improvement actions that have been made, to be worthy of such a big tournament.
The cooperation with the people of the Stadium was harmonious and coordinated, the result is what was set as the goal from the beginning and we all together hope that the star tournament that will be hosted here in the first days of July will be enjoyed by the fans and will bring the desired result in the Greek national team”were the statements of Vangelis Lioliou.
