The federal coach expressed his great satisfaction with the performance of his players and the inclusion of Giannis Antetokounmpo in the team, while adding that some details remain to be worked out ahead of the Pre-Olympic Games.
In detail what the coach of our national team said:
“We faced a team with a similar style to the Dominican Republic that we will face in the Pre-Olympics. A team that plays freely, with talent and if you are not focused and ready you can pay for it. Our players are quite focused, they are motivated, they have come with a purpose.
I am also happy for Giannis and how he was integrated. He is very good, our planning worked. He was also good with his teammates. He distributed the ball correctly, the kids felt comfortable on the pitch. I’m also happy with the defense except for some easy baskets we conceded. Let’s work on the last details and be ready for the first official one. I’m happy with all the players, they fight for every ball, every phase”.
