Two days after the imposing victory over Montenegro, the Hellas produced an even better showing, crushing the Bahamas with an impressive 102-75 in the Acropolis tournament.
The first scorer of the “blue and white” team was Dino Mitoglouwho after the match spoke about the image of the team in the pre-season friendlies, while praising him Giannis Antetokounmpo and what it offers with its quality.
In detail what he said:
“Those friendlies were very important to form an image of how we want to play. We didn’t have much time at our disposal, we had to quickly bond as a team and see what we could improve. Our image so far is very good, there is a lot of will and now our mind is on the official games. The coach wants us to be a tough team, to see appetite and to see winners.
We saw a completely different team, we all have to adapt our game to Giannis (Antetokounmpo), but we know how we move, we have very good chemistry on and off the court. Giannis is one of the best players in the world, he can play all positions, he does everything on the pitch… Our role is to know where to move when he is on the pitch. Calathes and Walkup are excellent playmakers, they are pass first and team first players, they put the team above everyone else. I believe we will be ready for the Pre-Olympics”.
