PAE AEL announces the acquisition of Angelos Oikonomos, who signed a two-year contract with our team until June 2026. He is 29 years old, born in August 1995 and plays in the center field.
The experienced midfielder grew up… football in Germany. At the age of 14, he was selected for the Bayern Munich academies and stayed in Munich until 2016, playing in the second team of Bayern. In the 2016-17 season, he was transferred to Stuttgart B, with whom he played in 10 matches, followed by a return to Greece for OFI, with whom he played in Super League 2 and Super League. In the 2019-20 season, he competed successively in Doxa Drama and Platanias, while from 2020 he competed in Veria, with which he was crowned champion in the 2021-22 season with a total of 31 appearances and 3 assists.
