Thompson’s touching message to Warriors: ‘Don’t be sad it’s over, be glad it happened’

It may seem like a lie, but after 13 years without ever changing team, o Klay Thompson permanently left them Golden State Warriorsleaving him Steph Curry without his ‘Splash Brother’.

The great shooter, who will continue his career in Maverickswrote on social media a very emotional message for the “warriors”, stressing that he will never forget what he experienced with the team and with his teammates.

In detail what he wrote:

There are not enough words and pictures to express how I feel about you. From the bottom of my heart, thank you for the best moments of my life. It was a huge honor to wear the Warriors jersey from day one. I always wanted to be the best I could be and help bring as many championships as possible.

The best part was not the rings, but the friendships I made during this time. My family and I would like to thank all the wonderful people who work hard to make the Warriors a top-class organization. Don’t be sad it’s over, be happy it happened. Until we meet again.
