How did they track him down?

The Police proceeded to bring him yesterday to GADA from the Athens area as they had information that he was preparing to flee abroad.

This man, of Greek origin, became the focus of the Police investigations as the main suspect in the murder of the 54-year-old after clues found from the analysis of the victim’s mobile phone in the forensic laboratories of ELAS as what was found there “illuminated” many dark parts of case.

The analysis of video material from the area of Psychikos, where the murder took place, also played an important role, as at some point the perpetrator is seen getting off his motorcycle in order to pick up an advertising sign that he accidentally dropped. According to his police sources, this move provided important information about the perpetrator as he “betrayed” his body type.

However, so far the tough criminal, as police officials describe him, denies any involvement in the case.

Meanwhile, according to information from police sources, for the rest of those brought in, it is being examined whether they participated in the murder providing support to the offender.

Furthermore, the deposit process continues with the police officers handling the case having spoken with persons from the victim’s family environment as well as with his associates both in Athens and in Mykonos, where he had developed a large professional activity.
