With positive elements, protagonists but also mistakes against Ghent, AEK and now… Greece with the transfers!

Even 2-2 with the Ghent AEK came to their last friendly in the main stage of their preparation.

In the… marathon “test” (duration 130′) held in Burg-Hamstad, the “Union” had a very good presence in the first two parts of 35 minutes.

After opening the scoring just at 51” by Zinithe “yellow and black” produced very good results on grass, such as the excellent one pressing high and good traffic from the waist and front. They had several opportunitieswhile at the same time they were little threatened. The latter, however, happened mainly from their own mistakesbasically in phase build up. So, after a mistake by Brignoli in the build up, they conceded the equalizer at 18′.

The pace is now slower, with the “yellow and black” continuing to press high, while as the minutes passed they were once again superior.

In the 39th minute, the “Union” threatened with Eliasson’s cross, which the newly promoted Jonsson failed to make the projection. Ghent responded in the closing stages, as after a mistake by Mitoglou, the Belgians won the ball, with Tisundali missing with a shot from the height of the large area.

To get to 54′ when AEK found the net again. Rota made a very nice move, stepped into the area and when he received the ball from Levivery coolly executed into the bottom corner.

AEK continued to threaten the 60′ he had beam in a huge double chance: Very nice direct free-kick from Levi, with Roof finding the ball, which hit the crossbar. In the restart, Ljubisic was unable to score from close range. In the 62nd minute, the Croat had a shot after Eliasson’s cross, with the opposing goalkeeper blocking it, while a little later Fatiga’s shot went too high.

In the third part, Matias Almeida, as expected, changed almost the entire lineup, with Alberto Brignoli being the only one to continue.

A few things in the fourth part as well. The “yellow and black” were trying to circulate, but they made several mistakes. In the 122nd minute, Kanellopoulos’ goal was stopped, in what was essentially the last phase of the match.
