RTI Esporte has learned that Panathinaikos have authorized two agents to represent them in talks with the South American club. The club have already contacted the player’s manager, Christian Bragarnik, in a bid to sign him.

In principle, the discussions are leading to a positive result, but Gremio’s “yes” is pending. There is hope that the 28-year-old will be signed. However, the negotiations will continue in the next few days.

His representative is in Porto Alegre, where he will speak with the tricolor management to make this possibility a reality. Despite being used by coach Renato Portalupi, the Argentine would consider a possible exit during the summer.

According to the information, Gremio is not opposed to the possible departure of Pavon, but wants to receive a good monetary compensation, especially considering the financial situation of Panathinaikos, which has a large investor.
