One more addition for him Olympic in men’s handball.

After Predrag Vegin, the “red and whites” announced his acquisition Luka Vujovicinternational Montenegrin pivot.

The announcement in detail:

“THE OLYMPIACOS S.F.P. announces the start of his collaboration with Luka Vujovic. The Montenegrin international pivot (11/4/2000, 1.93m) signed his new contract and joins the roster of the club’s handball team.

Last season (2023-24), o Luka Vujovic played for Lovcen (Montenegro), with whom he scored 20 goals, in six matches in the group stage EHF European League. He has also worn the shirts of Metalurg (North Macedonia) and Koper (Slovenia). Vujovic is a member of it National team of Montenegro.

Luka Vujovic’s statement: “I’m looking forward to my debut at Olympiakos. Our home games will be exciting, as our fans are amazing. I’ve only heard great things about the club, so my decision to come here was not difficult. I’m ready to give my best myself for the club. I hope to fulfill the expectations of everyone in the team, who believe in me and gave me a great opportunity. My goals for the season are high, I hope we compete in the EHF European Cup and qualify for the next round and even further, as far as possible. I know that this is possible, with such players as we have on the roster and especially with Zeljko Babic on the bench, a great coach.”
