A resident of Toumba will remain for the next three years Thomas Kezioraby PAOK to announce today (13/07) the reaching of an agreement between the two sides.
With the contract of the Polish defender, who managed to stay free from Dynamo Kyiv in the end, with the “two-headed man of the North” having duration of two years, with an option to extend it for another year.
The relevant announcement in detail:
“PAE PAOK announces the agreement with Tomas Kenziora for a 2+1 year cooperation contract.
He was born on June 11, 1994 in Sulechów, Poland and fell into the deep end early. Miroslav’s father was a coach at the Zielona Gora academies and he started taking him to training sessions and training him from the age of four, playing with kids up to four years older than him.
In 2000 he officially joined the Zielona departments. In 2010 under his father’s guidance he played in the final phase of a development tournament in Poland and attracted the interest of champions Lech Poznan.
He joined the second team straight away, took a leading role and in the autumn of the 2011–12 season earned his promotion to the first team.
In July 2012 in a European game against Zetsu from Kazakhstan he made his official debut and since then with steady steps he started to become a key player for the team.
In total, he made 151 appearances for Lech, with 10 goals and 12 assists, won a championship and two Polish Cups, before it was time for the next one.
Dynamo Kyiv was the one who made him theirs in the summer of 2017, while a few months later the first call came from the Polish National Team, with whom he has played in 28 games to date, scoring one goal and two assists, having previously played and at all levels of the small national teams of his homeland.
In Kiev he adapted very quickly and became a key member of the team. He won one championship, two Ukrainian Cups, three Super Cups, played in 198 matches, scored seven goals and provided 20 assists, while also working under the guidance of Razvan Lucescu’s father, Mircea.
Kendziora returned on loan to Lech Poznan in March 2022, managed to play in seven matches and celebrate winning the league.
He returned to Dynamo Kyiv and played in 18 games, in the league, Champions League qualifiers and Europa League groups, before moving to Thessaloniki and PAOK, where he stayed for 1.5 years on loan.
With Dikefalos he played in 57 games and scored four goals, being pivotal on the way to winning the championship of the 2023-24 season.
In the summer, the Polish defender was released and accepted PAOK PAOK’s proposal for a 2+1 year cooperation contract.
