The “greens” announced the extension of their cooperation with Elton Fickaywho signed a new contract until summer of 2028! We remind, o 19-year-old left-footed defender he signed his first professional contract last year and had – like this year – followed the mission to Austria. Last year’s contract, it should be noted, expired in the summer of 2026.
Fikai, who is an international with all the “minor” national teams of Albania, was born in Athens on October 18, 2005 and has been in the Panathinaikos academy since 2018.

PAE Panathinaikos announces the extension of its cooperation with Elton Fickay. The 19-year-old defender has signed a new contract, keeping him at the club until the summer of 2028.
Elton, who signed his first professional contract in July 2023, joined the club’s academy in 2018. Last season he made 18 appearances for the Trefoil’s second team, while also making his official debut for the first team.
Shortly after signing his new contract, Elton Fikay said:
“I am very happy to have signed my new contract with Panathinaikos. First of all I would like to thank the Association for the trust and support all these years. I will give my best on the pitch and I hope to achieve important things in the Panathinaikos jersey in the future.”
