PAE AEK announces the acquisition of Moses Odubatzo from Aris. The English full-back has signed a contract with our club until the summer of 2026.
Moses Odubajo was born on July 28, 1993 in Greenwich, London. He took his first football steps at the Millwall Academy and then moved to Leyton Orient, with which he signed his first professional contract.
In the four years 2010 – 2014, she made 116 appearances with her shirt (16 goals, 21 assists), while she also had three one-month loans at St. Albans City (October – November 2010), Sutton United (January – February 2012) and Bishops Stortford ( February – March 2012).
In the summer of 2014, he signed a three-year contract with Brentford, with whom he played in 48 games (3 goals) the following season. His good performances led Hull to spend around €5 million to sign him in August 2015. In the 2015–16 season he played in 53 games (3 assists) in all competitions, eventually winning promotion with his side in the Premier League.
However, he was unlucky as an injury kept him out of action for the next 19 months. In the summer of 2018 he returned to Brentford, with whom he made 35 appearances in all competitions in the 2018–19 season, and the following July he moved to Sheffield Wednesday, for whom he made 46 appearances over the next two years.
In the summer of 2021, he signed for Queens Park Rangers (33 appearances, 3 assists), while a year later he traveled to Greece on behalf of Aris. With the Thessaloniki team, he made 69 appearances (2 goals, 2 assists) in all competitions over the next two years.
