The… bomb has officially exploded “Erik Lamela» at AEK!
The Argentinian star has been a player of the “Union” for a few minutes now, with the “yellow and black” PAE announcing the completion of the great transcript!
Confirming the relevant report, the 32-year-old ace signed a “golden” contract with AEK three-year durationwhich is expected to yield him two and a half million euros annually together with the bonuses, that is the highest in the history of the “doubleheader”!

After all, Lamela has been in Greece since Friday (19/7), receiving a tremendous welcome from more than 1,500 AEK fans at “El. Venizelos”! On Saturday (20/7) he passed the medical and ergometric tests, subsequently signing the contract with his new team.

PAE AEK announces the acquisition of Erik Lamela. The international Argentinian ace signed a cooperation contract with our team until the summer of 2027.
Erik Lamela was born on March 4, 1992 in Buenos Aires, Argentina. From his childhood he joined the River Plate Academy and from a very young age his performances and goals in the youth teams attracted the interest of clubs from Europe.
At the age of 17 he made his debut with River’s first team, with which he made a total of 36 appearances (4 goals, 6 assists) over the next two years. In the summer of 2011 he made the move to Europe, with Roma paying a total of €17.2 million to sign him.
In Italy he had an outstanding two years (2011 – 2013), with 67 appearances, 21 goals and 13 assists, prompting Tottenham to spend more than €30 million (a record sum for their history at the time) to get him to move in England.
Over the next eight years he was a key member of the Londoners, making 257 appearances (37 goals, 44 assists). In fact, a goal of extraordinary beauty that he scored with a ball, in a game against Arsenal in the 2020-2021 season was voted the goal of the season in England and was subsequently awarded by FIFA and the Puskas Award for 2021.
In July of the same year, he moved to Spain for Sevilla, with whom he played over the next three years in 92 games (16 goals, 7 assists) and celebrated with them winning the Europa League of the 2022-2023 season.
Lamela is an international with the Argentina Men’s team, with whom he made his debut on March 25, 2011 against Paraguay and to date has 25 appearances and three goals.
