Lamia will be the next stop in the career of Maria Oikonomidou. The Fthiotis have announced the signing of the 32-year-old international diagonal for next year, adding an important athlete to their roster.
Oikonomidou is considered one of the greatest volleyball players in Greece in the last ten years, having played in the biggest teams in Greece and in Europe, and is expected to strengthen the Greek women in the effort to stay in the Women’s Volleyball League.

“The Board of Directors of AO Lamia 2013 announces the start of the collaboration with the athlete Maria Oikonomidou. Maria was born in Thessaloniki on August 18, 1992 with a height of 1.85m. and fights as a diagonal.

Maria is an international player with the Greek National Team and has many appearances with the official ‘favourite’!
