Through Gov.gr Wallet the identification of the ticket for permanent residents abroad

Their ticket through Gov.gr Wallet sports fans who are permanent residents abroad can also identify from today

The possibility to identify their ticket, as well as their season ticket, through the Gov.gr Wallet application, from today, August 6th, is also available to sports fans who are permanent residents abroad, allowing the application to read their passport using NFC chip it contains.

In the context of the ongoing cooperation between the Ministers of Digital Governance Dimitris Papastergiou and the Deputy Minister of Sports, Yannis Vroutsisin order to upgrade the level of security at the stadiums, now permanent residents abroad with passports of a foreign country will be able to enter the stadiums easily and simply with their electronic ticket at Gov.grWallet.

More specifically, permanent residents abroad with a passport of a third country, to identify their ticket and enter the stadium with the digital ticket for the matches of SuperLeague 1as well as his Greek Cupafter purchasing the ticket through a ticketing provider, follow the following procedure:

-They open the Gov.gr Wallet application and log in without user authentication and entering codes taxisnetas guests (guest mode) by selecting the “event tickets” field.

-Next, they identify the passport through it Gov.gr Wallet allowing the application to scan the passport using the NFC chip it contains.

-Then they introduce him reservation code written on the ticket.

-In this way, the connection of its elements is carried out passport with the ticket holder.

-To enter the stadium, the sports fan who is a permanent resident abroad puts the device intact mobile phone in which he has saved his now personalized ticket at the reception ticket scanning and recognition devices.

*It is worth noting that soon permanent residents abroad will be able to identify their ticket in Gov.gr Wallet also through their identity card if it contains NFC chip.
