Olympiacos: “No one enters the stadium without identification until 18:00”

Update on the entry process in the friendly match against Nottingham Forest from PAE Olympiacos. The Piraeus players point out through an announcement that the fans who will be at “G. Karaiskakis” for the match (21:00) with the English club should have proceeded to identify their ticket by 18:00. This even applies to permanent ones.

The announcement

For the friendly match between Olympiacos and Nottingham Forest on Thursday (08/08, 21:00), as well as for the rest of the matches of the season, PAE Olympiacos informs and reminds the fans who wish to watch the games in person, that the their entrance to the Stadium “C. Karaiskakis” is done ONLY through Gov.gr Wallet.

Based on the new law, sports fans will ONLY enter the stadium via Gov.gr Wallet and an essential condition is the identification of the match ticket or season ticket (the identification process is done only once and is valid for the entire season).

Those of the fans who have purchased a ticket for the friendly match Olympiacos – Nottingham Forest or a season ticket and have not proceeded with the necessary identification through the Gov.gr Wallet application, will NOT be able to enter on Thursday at the “G. Karaiskakis”.

ATTENTION: The document that sports fans have received in their email after completing the payment, IS NOT A TICKET but the code for the gov.gr wallet.

In case the identification has not been carried out until now, it should be done up to three hours before the start of the match, at 18:00 on Thursday (08/08).

Gov.gr Wallet

Entry to the stadium is ONLY possible using the Gov.gr Wallet application.

When purchasing ticket codes, you will be emailed a PDF file per code/ticket, which will include the QR code for scanning or its code for entering into Gov.gr Wallet.

Anyone can download the Gov.gr Wallet application from Google Play or the App Store as long as they are registered in the National Register of Communications (E.M.Ep.). Anyone who has not registered can do so at emep.gov.gr.

For children under 15 who do not have personal TaxisNet codes, the guardian enters their own Gov.gr Wallet by first adding their own code/ticket and then the child’s. For other cases, see https://tickets.gov.gr/ or click here.

For security bodies, during the identification process they do not have to fill in their ID number to proceed with the process.

For foreigners who do not have personal TaxisNet codes and have a foreign passport, they normally buy the code/ticket from our platform and from Tuesday 06/08 using the Gov.gr Wallet application select the Non Greek Resident field. During the identification process they scan the code/ticket and then take a photo of their passport. In the event that they cannot complete the identification process, they can visit the ticket offices (Karaiskaki Stadium – Gate 25) on the day of the match and between 17:00-20:00.
