Ioanna Hatzileontis became a Panathinaikos basketball player on Friday. An important transfer addition for Panathinaikos, after they managed to add Ioanna Hatzileontis to their roster. The 22-year-old forward (1.87m.) agreed with the ‘clover’ and is ready to help as much as possible and to assist, so that Panathinaikos can continue with titles in the new year.
Despite her young age, she has a rich resume, as she has previously played for the following teams: Ikaros, Faros Keratsiniou, Proteas Voulas, Kronos Agios Dimitrios and GS Ilioupolis before transferring to the University of Kansas.
It is worth noting that in 2019 she was the MVP of the European Girls’ Championship, while in 2022 she was a key member of the Junior National Team that reached the quarterfinals of the European Championship.
In the NCAA he played with both Kansas and Pittsburgh. In the US Collegiate Championship, the Greek athlete recorded a total of 62 appearances, averaging 8.8 points, 6.2 rebounds and 1.4 assists.
