Defeat in the last friendly for the men’s national volleyball team

Another defeat for the men’s national volleyball team from Switzerland. The representative group lost 1-3 sets against its opponent in Larissa and finished with 0/3 in its matches against the group from Central Europe.

In the three sets, the federal coach, Kostas Christofidelis, kept a stable six with Protopsaltis, Raptis on the wings, Voulkidis with Linardos in the center, Mouchlias on the diagonal, Galiotos on the pass and Tziavra on the libero. Kotsakis played as a libero from the third set onwards.

With the exception of the first set, the National team lost all the next ones by the minimum of the difference, but showed good evidence, in view of the continuation of the preparation.

The second set was crucial, with Greece losing two sets of bowls and Switzerland in their third to make it 2-0.

The next friendlies are the two-day 15-16 August against Belgium at the same stadium.
