Panionios: Great move with Ryan Brown

Another very important transfer was carried out by Panionios which returned strongly to the Stoiximan Basket League. The Neosmyrnios acquired him Ryan Brownwho returns to Greece after his stint with Promethea and Panathinaikos from 2018 to 2020. Last season he played in the French league averaging 10.6 points, 3.4 rebounds, 2.1 assists and 1.2 steals term.

Rion Brown was born on September 3, 1991 in Hinesville/Georgia, he is 1.98 meters tall and plays shooting guard and small forward. He played basketball at Liberty County High School and then joined the University of Miami program in the NCAA from where he graduated in 2014 with individual honors (member of the 3rd best five in the ACC).

His professional career began in Europe, specifically in Israel and Hapoel Tel Aviv, but in the year (2014) he moved to Belgium (Excelsior Brucells) where he stayed until 2016.ap

In the 2016-2017 season, he won the Finnish championship with Kataja (he also competed in the Basketball Champions League) and then (2017-2018) he competed in France with Dijon.

His first contact with Greece took place in the 2018-2019 season when he played for Prometheus Patras (participating in the Basketball Champions League) and the next he was in the Euroleague with his signature at Panathinaikos.

In January 2020 he moved to Turkey and Tofas having also participated in the Eurocup while for the 2020-2021 season he agreed with Cedevita Olimpija with which he won the Super Cup and the Slovenian championship.

His career continued in Russia (Enisey), G–League (Agua Caliente Clippers for only three games)) and France (Nanterre 92 and ADA Blois)
