He returns to action Sandro Tonali!
The 24-year-old Italian midfielder was handed a 10-month ban for breaching Serie A’s player and betting rules during his time with the club Milan.
Later, O Tonally had admitted his guilt and was forced to remain out of competitive action for ten whole months, while just a few months earlier (July 2023) he had joined the Newcastle against 64 million euros!
Thus, he only managed to make 12 official appearances for the Premier League side during last season, however, as announced he will be able to play as a regular from the August 28 and then, when his punishment shall be completed.
This means he will miss both of his side’s first two Premier League games of the season against Southampton and Bournemouth, but will be available for his side’s clash with Nottingham Forest on 28/8, for the EFL Cup.
