Great move from Peristeri: Announce Eddie!

Super move with Jarrell Eddy from the Dove. The team of Giorgos Limniatis announced the acquisition of the 33-year-old forward, who – among other things – has played in the NBA, counting 34 appearances, as well as in Fenerbahce.

KAE Peristeri announces its agreement with athlete Jarrell Alexander Eddy, who will wear the club’s jersey for the 2024-2025 season.

The 33-year-old forward will strengthen with his presence the regional line of the team, in its domestic obligations, but also in the Basketball Champions League.

His resume

Jarrell Alexander Eddy was born on October 30, 1991 in Tampa, Florida, is 2.01 tall and plays as a small forward. He started his career in the college championship (NCAA) and Virginia Tech (2010-2014), where in four seasons he averaged 9.61 points, 4.58 rebounds and 1.13 assists in 25.8 minutes of participation in 123 games.

He started his professional career with the Austin Spurs (affiliate team of the San Antonio Spurs) in the 2014-2015 season. He then played in the NBA with the Washington Wizards (2015-2016), Phoenix Suns (2016-2017), Boston Celtics (2017-2018) and Chicago Bulls (2017-2018). In a total of 34 games in the NBA, he averaged 2.56 points in 6.4 minutes of participation.

Then he came to Europe and played in Strasbourg (2018-2019) with which he averaged 11.47 points, 4.75 rebounds and 1.2 assists in 25.4 minutes of participation in 40 games.

In the 2019-2020 season, he played in the Liga Endesa for Murcia with whom he averaged 14.36 points and 3.09 rebounds in 26.6 minutes of participation in 22 games.

The following season (2020-2021) he played in Fenerbahce, with whom he averaged 5.9 points in the Euroleague, 2.1 rebounds and 44.9% three-point shooting (44/98) in 17 minutes of participation in 32 games. In the Turkish league in 13 games he averaged 13.23 points and 3.38 rebounds in 22 minutes of participation.

Then (2021-2022) he played again in Liga Endesa with Burgos, where in 19 games he averaged 11.84 points and 3.32 rebounds in 24.8 minutes of participation, while he also played in 6 games with Strasbourg in the same year in the league and Basketball Champions League.

The next season (2022-2023) he wore the jersey of Konyaspor in Turkey and in 27 games he averaged 13.89 points, 6.59 rebounds and 1.41 assists in 33.7 minutes of participation.

Last season (2023-2024) he played in the Romanian Cluj Napoca with which he averaged 10.88 points, 3.35 rebounds and 1.18 assists in 20.5 minutes of participation in 31 league games, while in the Eurocup he averaged 10.16 points and 3.79 rebounds in 23.7 minutes of participation.

With Cluj Napoca, he won the championship and the Romanian Cup, while he was named the most valuable player (MVP) of the championship finals with 23 points, 6 rebounds and 2 assists.
