Ardizoglou: “Almeida is a charlatan” – “Attack” by AEK veterans: “He is becoming a tool in the hands of the opponents”

The relations of the Association of its veterans are at an extreme AEK with Christos Ardizoglou.

On the occasion of an interview granted by the old glory of the “yellow and black”, the Association issued an aggressive statement against him, stressing that “it consciously becomes a “tool” in the hands of our adversaries».

Furthermore, it states: “If Christos Ardizoglou has complaints from AEK or from the veterans of AEK, he should express them in the right place. And not giving these recitals of obscene lies, misinformation, disrespect and ingratitude in the media and on social media».

Excerpt from his interview in the newspaper “Fos”:

For the case of AEK: “We ate our lives on the courts. They gave him a charlatan contract until 2028, if you have your God! Because Melissanidis flattered him. And you see him reacting to his statements, everyone is to blame except him. Rather than up and leave on his own, he says he is under contract until 2028 and has turned down other offers. Good for them. And about Pineda, do you remember what I said? They made this bitch pretend to be a player, they paid him multi millions, he was unrecognizable last year and he is straight up pushing to leave! Because Almeida wanted him and because he is his player, they paid him gold, the most expensive transfer in the history of AEK. And he turned AEK upside down».

About what he would do: “I would sack Almeida, there are many good coaches. I’d send him home and get another coach, so he’d get spoiled and go off on his own. Before that I would have told him “let’s find out, get some compensation, let’s part as friends”. Will I have him until 2028 to get me whoever he wants, then push for the players to leave, not get me a forward, while we don’t have a second forward?».

For AEK’s performance which has fallen: “Or they stopped are they taking vitamins, or have they been burned… The first year they were running wild. Now they are going in reverse… Where is the football that AEK played the year they won the championship? You could see the ball being lost. Did they forget football? As the Association of AEK Veteran Footballers we would like our activity to be limited only to charity matches and events that honor the past and history of our club.

Unfortunately, however, there are times when we are forced to deal with very uncomfortable situations, such as the one created by our old teammate and friend a long time ago Christos Ardizoglou.

For some time now, this particular man has been attacking the just and the unjust with public statements, either in his interviews or through social media, in which he has found a brilliant field of glory for delusional statements, often incomprehensible, but clearly offensive to AEK and for people who wrote and are still writing history with it.

He has put himself out of the veterans, despite the fact that none of us ever had the intention of removing him from our association and from AEK. For a very long time now he is insulting, bordering on slanderous, to his old teammateswith a final and most characteristic sample of what he stated for Thomas Mavro and his participation in the World Mixed in 1984.

His last “hit” was his today interview in Fos ton Spor newspapera pan-Hellenic newspaper that has been known for many decades to support Olympiakos. At a time when our team is trying to leave behind a European elimination and commit to the championship that is starting, Mr. Ardizoglou was selected by this particular newspaper to talk about AEK and even succeed against the coach of the team Matias Almeida.

Of course, the choice was not accidental. This veteran is always eager for leveling criticism and this is of course well known by all those who want to create a problem for AEK.

All these years we respected the history of Christos Ardizoglou at AEKwe even respected each other the peculiarities of his character and we gave way to anger. But this cannot happen forever, and especially since a great glory of AEK’s past it consciously becomes a “tool” in the hands of our adversaries.

If o Christos Ardizoglou he has complaints from AEK or from AEK veterans, he should express them in the right place. And not to give these recital of obscene lies, misinformation, disrespect and ingratitude in the media and social media. We hope we don’t have to deal with him in the future, because next time we won’t be satisfied with one announcement.
