The Patras team announced his acquisition Wesley Iguduwho has moved on from the NBA while last season he competed for the first time in Europe with the German team, Rasta Vektawith which he averaged 9.5 points and 5 rebounds.

KAE Prometheus Patras is pleased to announce the start of its partnership with athlete Wesley Iwundu, who is coming to Patras to strengthen our team’s efforts for the new season.

Wesley Iwundu was born on December 20, 1994 in Houston, United States. He sees the world from 201 cm and competes mainly in positions “2” and “3”. This is a player who has eaten the NBA courts with a spoon, while being noted for his formidable appeal on the defensive side. He began his career with the Kansas State Wildcats, with whom he played for four years in the NCAA (2013-17), before starting his NBA career with the Orlando Magic, where he played for three years (2017-20), competing in 182 matches, with an average of about 17 minutes of participation. The following season he played first for the Dallas Mavericks and then for the New Orleans Pelicans, while in the 2021-22 season he played for the Atlanta Hawks and the Cleveland Charge. In the 2022-23 season, Iwundu played again in the G League, on behalf of the Stockton Kings, while last year he made his European debut, on behalf of Germany’s Rasta Vekta. In the jersey of the Saxony team, the American averaged 9.5 points and 5 rebounds.
