What he said in detail:

On his injury and Lance’s high level: “I missed a long time from the preparation and I don’t have as many playing minutes as I would like. There was an injury that held me back, but I’m slowly getting to the level I want. I have competed against very difficult opponents and with the National Team last year in Europe as well. Without underestimating the opponent, I am confident that I can prove that I belong to the top level.”

For the gel with Asteras AKTOR: “As many years as I have been at Panathinaikos, there is not a game where we don’t want the three points. The game with Asteras shocked us and annoyed us to lose three points. Now that’s over, tomorrow is a good opportunity to show our true face.”

For the doro around his name: “In the first place, I don’t think I need any fluff around my name to understand my worth. But the interview is about the game and I want to stick to that. I am focused on Panathinaikos and I will do my job as best as I can”.

For Lance in relation to Ajax: “What I have seen is that she is more physical and intense in runs and strength. Ajax had more quality, but here it is a different style of play and we have to cope. I think we will do it because we have quite strong kids.”

For the demands of the world: “I myself have high demands from the first moment I came to Panathinaikos. The world has recognized this and has high demands from me, which I like and want too.”

On the great importance of the games: “It’s our last chance to go to Europe. If we manage to go through it will be important for the club and for us. I have said before that Panathinaikos without Europe is not what we dream of.”
