Vangelis Liolios presents the male candidates he proposes for the EEC elections with his statement ahead of the elections on September 15
“My proposal to the Unions for the 15 September EEC Elections regarding the male candidates I would like you to honor with your vote as I believe they have the disposition, ability and necessary experience are as follows. For the Board of Directors I recommend:
1. Municipality of Dikoudi (Head of National Teams and 1st in votes in 2021)
2. Vassilis Dakouris (Special Secretary of the EEC and 2nd in votes in 2021)
3. Konstantinos Asimakopoulos (Board Member, 5th vote in 2021)
4. Yannis Iliopoulos (Vice-President of the EEC, 6th in votes in 2021)
5. Niko Zeibeki (EEC Treasurer, 8th in votes in 2021)
6. Christos Vassiliadis (Board member, Head of Women’s Basketball, 9th in votes in 2021)
7. Lambros Taki, (Board member, Member of the Championship Committee, 12th in votes)
8. Dimitris Evangelou, (member of the EEC Board of Directors, member of the Championship Committee, 15th in votes in 2021) and
9. Yiannis Tsoumi (member of the EEC Board of Directors, 1st alternate in 2021) as well as (in alphabetical order):
1. Kostis Zompanaki (President of the EEC Development Committee and former President and Owner of AGO Rethymno (Cretan Kings) throughout their journey from the 3rd National League to the Basket League),
2. Charalambos Markakis (President of EKASK and former member of the Board of EEC),
3. Angelos Papanikolaou (Chairman of the 3X3 Committee and candidate for Chair in the 2021 Ordinances) and
4. Lazaros Savvidis (ECASDYM President and former member of the EEC Board of Directors).
While for their Audit Committee (in alphabetical order):
1. Tryfona Ditsio (member of the EEC Board of Directors and 11th in votes in 2021,
2. Panteli Kougio (President of TE Dodecanese) and
3. Georgios Prekas (ESKANA Treasurer and President of the ESKANA Championship Committee).
Finally, I would like to thank Nikos Nikolopoulos (General Secretary of EEC), Kostas Marlafekas and Yiannis Petalotis for their overall contribution during these 3 years to the EEC Board of Directors. Although they did not want to participate in this election process, I am sure that their experience and their willingness to offer will help the next EEC Administration that will emerge from the elections of September 15, from which position of responsibility they will be asked”.
