“First” with dreams for Karditsa

The first training session of the year in Karditsa at “Yiannis Bourousis” was open to the fans, who attended, while at the same time the team’s first Media Day took place.

Before the start of training, the management people welcomed old and new members of the technical team, as well as the athletes, sharing wishes for a successful season.

The general manager of the group, Christos Deligiannis, spoke first, who, beyond the wishes, expressed his optimism that this year’s effort will develop successfully. As he pointed out, the starting point of the third season in the Basket League is the best possible.

He also added that the organization’s consistency, as well as its progress, is such that it can now attract big-name athletes with great experience and a career.

Regarding the roster, Mr. Deligiannis expressed his satisfaction, on behalf of the administration, that the team has largely renewed last year’s core.

On the same wavelength were the statements of the president of KAE, Fanis Kaimakamis, who, after welcoming the competition section, spoke about the character of the team and the prevailing family.

In turn, the General Secretary of the club, Mr. Giorgos Christoulas, referred to the conditions, pointing out that each member of the team will make sure that the athletes have everything they need to perform at their best.

After the speech of Nikos Papanikolopoulos, the team had its first official training session, with all the athletes that have been announced, so far, showing their “attendance”.

At the same time, the arrival of Romelo White is expected in the next few hours, with the American center returning to Karditsa to complete his recovery after the serious injury he suffered last March.

The team will continue the basic stage of its preparation with daily training sessions at “Yiannis Bourousis”, while the first friendlies will be scheduled in the next period.
