In detail, the AEK announcement:
“AEK is pleased to announce the start of its partnership with Lukas Zenes Sukielovic. The French athlete born on August 22, 2005, will strengthen the Men’s Handball department of AEK in the new season.
The talented left winger is 1.89m tall, weighs 85kg and was born in Le Havre. Last season he played for Villeurbane.
Speaking to aek.gr, Lukas Zenes Sukielovic said: “For me, this is my first season abroad at this level. The idea of traveling and competing in Greece is something awesome. Last year I took my first step away from home. I was playing 600 kilometers away. I did it to get to know the… professional world better. When I was traveling to France to learn the professional world of handball, I went to the VHA in Lyon, where Fred Bouzon was also. There I met him, joined this project and had the opportunity to train in a professional team. The coach and I were in communication and he suggested that I come to play here and continue the work we did in France. I have blind trust in him and so he accepted the offer. As for my goals, I want to improve on an individual level and help my team achieve what they want in the domestic titles. We will fight in every match for victory.”
Lucas, welcome to AEK!».
