Saved by VAR n Lance!
Although they “flirted” very strongly with the first defeat in this year’s Ligue 1, the “Lanceois” left with the point (1-1) from the Monacothanks to a penalty by Frankovski in the fourth minute of stoppage time!
A few 24 hours after the European exclusion from Panathinaikos in the Conference League, Lance was better for most of the match, having two goals in the first half and losing a four-on-four with Sotoka in the second. In fact, in the 78th minute “Lanceux” took the lead with Laskari, but the goal canceled via VARas he was found to have waved before scoring.
As if that wasn’t enough, it was the Monegasques who took the lead in the match, with a header by Zakaria in 84′. However, the scorer of the Principality’s team went from nice to… fatal, after the ball found his hand in a shot at 90+3′, with the referee giving the penalty through VAR. A minute later, Frankovski took over the execution and hitting from the white bullet, made the final 1-1.
With this result, both Monaco and Lance moved up to the 7 points.
