Živkovic: “Qualifying for Europa is important for PAOK and our careers”

THE Andrija Zivkovic spoke to the NOVA camera about PAOK’s away match against Atromitos, the qualification of the “two-headed” in the League Phase of Europa League, but also for his departure Konstantinou Koulierakis.

“It’s hard to get enough rest. It’s been a long journey, but we’re professionals and that’s our job.”.

“The draw is interesting, there are great teams and we are ready to face them and we will show it on the pitch. We are very happy for our qualification to the League Phase of the Europa League, it is an event that helps the club a lot and helps us for our careers. So we’re just happy that we managed to be there.”

On whether time is an ally and how the team can return to its familiar standards:

“I think in every game we get better and better. The aim is to stay together, work as a team in training, in matches and get better and better and go win every game. We are on the right track and we are working properly.”

For this year’s first away game in the league against Atromitos:

“It will be a very difficult game against a very good opponent, but we have prepared properly and in our minds, we will only have to get the three points. We know it will be difficult, but we will go there to get the victory.”

For his farewell to Koulierakis:

“It is certainly sad, the fact that we lose a player like Konstantinos, but we are also very happy, because we know that he will go to a big club and championship. It will be good for his career. I want to ask Wolfsburg to take care of him and wish him all the best and success in his career.”
