Andreopoulos’s total reached the point 20-19, but with consecutive successful attacks, the determined hosts reduced 1-2 in the sets (25-21).
The terrible start of Panathinaikos (1-5), forced Kalmazidis to call time out. The “greens” maintained the lead with relative comfort, until 14-18, when Barnes also went to serve.
